Who Are We?

Founded in the mid sixties, Black Eagle Bowmen are one of the oldest and most successful field archery clubs in the country. We have two woodland courses and an extensive practice range located on Forestry Commission land on the Bedfordshire, Northamptonshire border

  What Do We Do?

We run a field shoot on the second Sunday of each month. These shoots are run in accordance with the rules and regulations of the E.F.A.A. but we welcome archers from all societies to come and have a go.

If you have not tried field archery before then contact us and we will arrange an introduction to this diverse and rewarding sport.

If you have never shot a bow before or have tried it in the past and would like to try again, then contact us and we will organise a FREE introduction to the sport. You will spend a few hours with us during which you will be shown around our courses, given an understanding of the equipment we use and have a chance to shoot under the guidance of one of our experienced members. All equipment will be provided.
